Classée Sans Suite
114 : the number of feminicides recorded in France in 2023. Faced with these alarming statistics, we came up with the idea of an innovative awareness-raising solution. The result is Classée Sans Suite, a serious investigative game in virtual reality. Drawing on the advantages of this technology, we set up an immersive experience to warn young people about domestic violence and feminicide.
The entire experience was crafted with Unity and the XR Interaction Toolkit. It was developed for standalone headsets such as Meta Quest 2 and 3. In the end, we feel like we created a great serious game to help teenagers and young adults identify the warning signs of being a victim of domestic violence.
After three months of work as a group of 5 students, we are proud to have fulfilled the goals set for this experience. Achieving this colossal challenge would not have been possible without the onerous task of researching the subject. It was vital to document the subject and gather ressources in order to propose a tangible scenario and not appear as a simple game taking advantage of the subject. We absolutely wanted to surround ourselves properly, by contacting various french feminist associations.
